From the comfort of my arm chair

Last night whilst watching the premier of the TV Logies in the comfort of my arm chair, I was taken a back by the gorgeous, honest and talented Claudia Karvan. Karvan has for along time be one of those actors, that I dreamed of meeting and interacting with on a personal basis. In her appearance on Love My Way, she played a female role that I found myself relating to, the character posed artistic composition, displayed an often abrupt nature and consoled a more sensitive soul. Karvan is an amazing women who brings light and shade to the film & television industry. Most Outstanding Actress award therefore goes to no other then the infernos, sexy, most honest gal in showbiz Ms Claudia Karvan herself.

Wedding Dress, Warm Bath Anyone?!

After many days retired to the television through infliction of an unwanted virus I wonder up the street keen to start a European passport application that I have been stewing over for months, hold on years. Am staggering back, after delightfully enjoying the likes of my local coffee, when Iam approach by an energetic punk chic looking for a opt shop & fancy dress shop, lucky for her I know where both of these stores are located. Punk Chic clearly unaware of where she is rather consumed by her aim to obtain a Wedding Dress, yes, she asks me whether the local op shop has a wedding dress, do I look like the wedding kind? Definitely not today when I look a fright after days of wiping my nose with ruff tissue paper! I send the energetic teen on her way to obtain her prized dress and continue pottering home...missing the comfort of my cave like apartment.

As I stumble past the local material store I feel a cough, a build up of mucus and I open my bag to reveal a small box of tissues and proceed to use them. When a cross the road, walks a middle aged man, calling out "you got the cold you poor thing", me half way between using the tissue symbolises thank you in sign, the man suggests "a hot relaxing bath would do you good" and smiles. I continue to shuffle along trying to thank the man who so abruptly took it upon himself to console me. I realise at this point what I am missing on the outside of my enclosed apartment. I am almost home and the middle aged man mentioned above decides to toot me, yep toot me, who toots women these days, oh lucky me :)

Am home again. Pondering whether the middle aged man does this to all vulnerably cold inflicted women and envisioning the young punk chic in an op shop wedding dress in a backyard house party ***
